What is the likelyhood of going into natural spontaneous labour? DD was induced at 34+4, born at 34+5, due to pre-eclampsia. I had 3x prostin gel , ARM and a syntocinon drip with her.
DS1 was induced at dead on 40 weeks due to extreme hyperemesis (I'd spent 19 weeks out of 40 hospitalised). Had 1x prostin gel and syntocinon drip. Had ARM again.
DS2 was induced at 40+2 due to HG again. Didn't need prostin this time, was having (very) mild contractions when went in, had syntocinon drip and ARM yet again.
I'm currently 31+4 with dc4, and am wondering if it's likely that I'll need to be induced again. When I had DS2, the MW said that I make very thick amniotic sacs and they're unlikely to rupture naturally. Could this be true if I've needed ARM all 3 times? It's just I'm petrified of my waters breaking while I'm going round the shops or doing the school run etc. Will they induce me this time round, as in give me a date, or how does it work now?
How would I know I was going into labour? Sounds daft when it's number 4, but i've never gone into spontaneous labour before, and can't remember what I'm meant to look out for!
