Am 36 weeks with DC2, DC1 was induced at 34 weeks so not experienced natrual labour. How long from the baby dropping down did it take for your labour to start? Also getting twinges but not sure if BH.

Neither DC1 nor DC2 dropped - just go with the flow

With DD head was engaged from 35 weeks and she was born at 40+9. But I don't think 2nd babies engage fully until labour starts. That said, dropping isn't the same as engaging - DC2 dropped a couple of weeks ago and am now 38 weeks and nothing major happening yet.

DD's head was engaged from 32 weeks and went into labour at 40 + 2. Currently pregnant with DS, his head has been 3/5 engaged for 6 weeks, I'm due today and not a twinge!
