Hmmm waters? maybe?

Really confused lol. I'm sat down and I can feel liquid running in my privates, like it is outside, don't want to stand up just yet as I want to give it time to 'build' if it is my waters.

Any advice? They didn't go spontaneously with DD so don't know what it should feel like or how much etc as hers were broken late on.

umm, no idea. I suppose you will only know if you stand and they come out!

nope not my waters, but i;m now laid on the couch with searing pains down my right hand side and across the bump. dh is out at his rugby club with no mobile signal and dd is in bed.

Hoping this pain will pass quickly...

when is your baby due?

not until december 7th going on dates, but we have worked out that my dates are wrong (our fault noone elses) so could be up to 40 weeks already.

if you are experiencing pain that is outside of your comfort zone, then I would suggest you call unit and ask to be seen.

Do you know for sure it wasn't waters trickling earlier?

no not for sure really. Still feel like a build up of water down there but nothing when I stand up. Will wait til DH is home and keep a note of how often/how long the pains are. Hospital is only a 3 min drive away so not too bad.

pop a pad on as if your waters are bulging, they may go with a gush.

How long till dh gets home? Are the pains ctx like that come and go or more constant. How does bump feel? ie soft as is normal for you or more hard than usual?

Did you have a 12 week scan? That would have shown if you were 4 weeks out and the date set from that would be more or less correct give or take a few days iirc.

dh should be home within an hour, he'll check his phone on and off until then. Like ctx, coming and going but in the same area each time lol. Bump has been hard for a couple of days now. Feel very swollen down below as well. Been nesting last three days.

ok, perhaps when dh gets home, give unit a call if you are still uncomfortable.

Are youy able to carry on as normal when the pain is there?

Cheese - I don't go by the dating scan after having my daughter. Was told that I conceived her on or around November 21st but had a positve pregnancy test (5 actually) on HAlloween. I vividly remember peeing on the stick while dressed as a vampire lol
