35 weeks at the moment (could be further as we think we've got our dates wrong so could well be 39 - oops) and got awful back pain this morning. Getting worse then going for a bit then coming back again.

Already have a 2 year old and I know this is how I started last time, no bloody show etc, just straight backache into contractions.

Been losing what I think may be my plug for a few days, no blood in it or anything just resembles snot (Sorry TMI) lol

Just wanted to tell someone, if I call DH and tell him he'll be home from work in half an hour and whisking me off to hospital lol.

That's what happened to me! Was 35 weeks, lots of discharge (mine was a bit like yours but had blood in). Went to hospital and they monitored me and said I was fine to go home.
Massive back pain all day, coming and going - those are contractions, apparently! - and less than 12 hours after they told me I was fine, I'd given birth

Get yourself to hospital if they're happening more than once/twice in an hour! Good luck!

Thanks. Think I'll potter around for a bit and get tidied up (DD and I have been kipping on the couch all morning in our PJs :) ) Hospital is only 5 min drive away so plenty of time to get there.

No news is good news huh? Not in my case unfortunately lol. Pains got quite bad last night so just ended up rocking on the ball for what felt like forever. Lost more of the show last night (Stil no blood in it though) woke up at 4 this morning feeling rough as walked around and managed to go back to bed about 5.

But, woke up this morning with a major sense of deja vu, like I could tell my husband what was next on the news etc this morning. Wondering if that is a sixth sense sign that things might start, even to the point of getting him to write the offices number down on the fridge (usually just call his mobile) as I have a feeling he will be out of signal area for most of today.
