Using TENS post caesarean

Hi. Am just getting ready for my elcs later this morning and have my trusty tens machine from previous labours. I believe I can use it post caesarean. Has anyone else done so and did it help? Where did you put the pads?

I also have my homeopathy kit so any advice on arnica in particular would be good too.

Thanks in advance.

No idea about the tens machine, but I took arnica after my ELCS 4 weeks ago and the bruising that came out in a couple of days was spectacular!
good luck

HI, I wish I had known that I could have used my TENS after my EMCS, it would have really really helped me when I got home. Yes you can use it.
I had excruciating pains going upstairs when I returned home and it actually took me an hour to get up one flight of stairs I was in so much pain. I would have stuck the pads to my abs if I@d have known. Good Luck xx
