post pregnancy piles/ excess skin problems

after barely suffering from piles during pregnancy I gave my self enormous piles from pushing- the biggest the mw had ever seen. great. Now, 10 weeks on, I have no piles as such but lots of baggy loose skin (I am of course referring to where the sun don't shine). The GP said it will go but where? how? and when?
Anyone else with this, err, condition? I would post somewhere else about raggedy bits but i am not sure that is the correct place.

sorry shhrep77 thought you would have got more advice on this before now or would have replied earlier. I had the same problem as you after delivery of DS1 and yes the piles went away but unfortunately the skin?? didn't really even return to pre pregnancy. Expecting new baby any day now overdue and back in huge pile mode which is agony so TBH a little bit of excess skin is no worries instead of this hell, and god knows what delivery will do to them. You can ask to be referred saw man on embarrassing illnesses who got them all fixed up might even think about that myself after this is all over hope this helps

dou mean skin tags?

I'm 15 weeks on and my "loose skin bits" Blush have more or less gone, by which I mean tightened up so I can't really feel any bagginess anymore, although there are still a couple of small lumps (I assume shrunken piles) left. It's got much better over the last month so I hope yours do too (although yours sound worse than mine were Sad), otherwise as sassie says you could probably have them removed at a later date. Are you using any cream or anything on them?

Unfortunately I've also got a skin tag left over from my 2nd degree tear, part of which came unstitched and then fell off, leaving a small flappy bit! the dr said to leave it until after any more DCs and then they'd tidy up...oh the joys of childbirth!

yes pinky i think i do mean skin tags.

Beancount that is heartening - perhaps if i carry on with the pelvic floors they may get smaller on their own. the same with my saggy tummy skin! I am not using cream anymore as the thing the cream treats (the swelling) has gone. Indeed post childbirth I am feeling more glamourous than ever...
