Induce a Vbac where head popped back up?

Anyone been induced if head isn't engaged??? My waters broke spontaneously at midnight & although I had contractions they stopped at 7am!!! I've been to see my midwife who said I have a slight temperature so I've got to go into hospital early evening for them to see if temp higher & swab for vaginal infection. What I want to know is will they induce a vbac if the head isn't down or does the head need to be down for it to work??? My midwife thinks I'm 70% heading for csect but I so don't want one!!! She's told me not to go bouncing on ball as head is up & the cord could slip down in front of head!!
I feel a nervous wreck, don't like the idea of being stuck in hospital on my own (my DH is going to stay in hotel at end of hospital road as hospital is over hour drive from home) or knowing that I'll have to have a csect. (last time was an emerg csect under epidural so no real time to think about it!!)
Thanks

aww sorry your going through this. Try not to worry, unfortuately what will be will be, but you will probably find that if you have a CS this time it will be a much more relaxed experience than the last emcs. No advice on the head being engaged point though, as never been through this. Hope it all goes ok with you though.

Thank you, my csect last time was actually fine & after 44hr of labour with no sleep i was in a bit of a blur & relief for it to be over. I just want a shot at natural & to be successful at it too!!!! Hey how, what will be will be.
