just wonderd really,and i love readin other peoples birth stories ....with my 1st 08.05.09 i had 37+ hour labour she just wouldnt move, ended up havin a plunger suck her out and needed a cut to get the equipment up there. not quite the labour i had pland. of corse once she was born it made a bit more sence, she was back 2 back (well known for makin things a bit harder) and she was 8lb 5oz...wich was huge for my pre preg weight of 7st 11lb.
on a lighter note, i was really worried it would happen again with my second daughter but to my relief i went in at 2am and had her at 10.23am, 27.08.10....was only pushin for 11mins wich was b breeze compared to 1 n half hours of no progress pushin. and she was nearly a whole lb lighter at 7lb 6oz
so if anyones been put off of birth because of a hard previous 1, just rember no 2 births r the same

I had a forcep delivery in theatre threatened with a caesarian if it didn't work quickly as my son wasn't descending and his heartrate was a bit slow. Had a cut, but ended up with a 3rd degree tear, but I'd had an epidural about 2hrs prior so must admit, didn't feel a thing! Was a sore afterwards tho! 10 weeks on its still tender but getting there. Absolutely hasn't put me off, it's just convinced me that an epidural is the only way for me :) Lord only knows how I would've coped without!

Had epidural for induced delivery. Baby's heart rate kept dropping. Ended up with ventouse, episiotomy and losing 2 litres of blood. This has scared the crap out of me and so am having elective CS this time. I just want baby out quickly and safely.

sh77, its a shame your birth experience was bad enough to make you wana go down the section rout....i lost alot of blood with 1st dd but i only lost 300ml with 2nd dd....they just kept a close eye on any tearing. i had an epi with my 1st but my 2nd went so smoothy n i managed with a 1/2 dose of pethadine....would hav loved an epi...i did ask for 1 but the needle guy was in surgery

nicolaelize, ouch 3rd degree...bet you was dreading having a bowl movement.....i didnt do the do for two weeks after my 2nd degree in fear of it getting worse lol....glad your healing well hopfully the tenderness stops soon
