Hi peeps,

I gave birth just over 10 weeks ago and had to be cut and have an episiotomy. My stitches healed fine but I have been left with some scar tissue. A couple of weeks ago I felt pretty much back to normal and started to do a bit more walking etc. However, over the last week or so - I've started to feel pain again, its like i've been kicked in the crotch. Has anyone else experienced this - I thought it might be because the nerves are repaired so that's why I'm feeling it more.

I am also bleeding a bit but I think that might be a side-effect of having the contraceptive implant as I only had that fitted a couple of weeks ago.

I have got a doctor appointment for tommorow so hopefully she can shed some light on whats going on. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

i think pain does fluctuate in post natal recovery but it is a good idea to get it checked out. Also keep up your pelvic floors, as well as helping bladder function thy promote blood flow to the area which aids healing internally.
