Do MWs bring anti sickness drugs to home birth?

A very random question I just thought of... as have suddenly started feeling sick when I never usually do!

Yes if they bring pethidine or diamorhine, but not otherwise in my experience. Ask them to put some in your box when they deliver it if you are worried, but lots of women are sick a couple of times in labour.

I got a prescription from the GP for meptid to use at home birth, and was given ranitidine at the same time. Never used it as had a hospital birth in the end - where I had meptid and ranitidine anyway, it seems to be a standard combination!
