Anyone heading VBACwards and wanting to hand-hold?

There WAS a VBAC support thread on here, there WAS. And now I can't find it, so I thought I'd kick off another one.

I am 32+2 weeks pregnant. DD was ELCS for breech positioning (diagnosed at 38+some). I am very keen, no, determined, to do my best to have a natural birth with DC2 if at all possible. And now the nerves start to kick in...

So if anyone feels like joining in the panic nervousness, sharing stories or just hanging around and waiting together, jump on board and keep me company!

Just to let you all know that I also had a VBAC last Monday! It wasn't the birth that I hoped for, but I am glad to have avoided a c-section and am recovering well. Personally I think it's my pelvis and how it lets the babies heads' sit, but I guess we'll never know! Anyway, I now have a DS2, who is gorgeous, and it's a LOT easier second time round, especially bfing.

Good luck everyone!

I'm also wanting a vbac, local hosp quite crap at dealing with most things, which scares me (Due to understaffing mainly) most ob's and midwives lovely...(but unfortunately a minority of nasty ones too!!)

had twins last year...so had planned c-sec, which was fab (docs/surgeons great), but aftercare on ward was appauling...and i mean discusting!!!
no choice but to stay in hosp after a c-sec, despite nearly dying just from lack of care !! and this is why im really wanting a vbac..as i can go home straight away if no problems...
..
however......
they are very good at also not allowing freedom of what you want...
with all other pg's Ive had excuses why i couldnt use pool,(someone else in there.....not working properly, unable to with baby overdue etc etc) then reasons why i couldnt have partner in room, why Ive had to be hooked up & strapped to bed & unable to move around......etc etc...looking back...its almost like they take my power away, and this time...now its a vbac....the choices are even more limited!!!

now im older, im more able to fight back....but this has been at the expense of aftercare...as they dont seem to like those who speak out !!! (just like the buzzers they switch off, if you buzz too often) !!!
we all know it happens....and now im petrified of what to do.

Ive never had complications....just overdue babies, twins and once a baby breech....I'm not talking serious things here....but most births have been awful...just due to how ive been treated either beforehand....or afterwards !
9 weeks to go....and i dont know what to do
(yet this is baby no 7!!)
