Is this a 'show'?

Apologies because I know people will have asked this before but can't find exactly what I'm looking for...

Am 41+2 weeks pregnant and have just been to the loo and had a lot of jelly-ish light yellow mucus when I wiped (sorry tmi Blush). There was no blood or bloodish colour in it at all. Could this be a 'show'? My dh says it came out in the throes of labour last time, so I have no recollection!

Also, if it is, at this stage how long do you think it might be usually before labour might start [getting bit desperate emoticon -induction booked for Thursday]?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes it sounds like mine.

I don't know about when to expect labour though, as you can have several 'shows' cant you? Sorry, no help I know! Get on your gym ball and have a curry tonight, see if it gets things going!

Good luck x

Thanks Abi! Gonna do a bit of crawling around to get it in place, and everything else I can think of! x

my labour started a couple of days after.

I am 36+ 4 and have had this for the last week with my last DS I had it on and off for a couple of weeks and was then induced!

Ooh exciting thank you all! Nice to think my body's trying to get something to happen at least, after weeks with nothing at all, apart from massive massive weight gain. I can't keep up this eating much longer without fearing I'lll burst!

Definitely sounds like a show. I only saw my show with one of my children and she was born 15 hours later.

Briiilliant! Thanks Fab. Better get an early night... just in case...
