DP is 3cm dilated, will she go into labour soon?

The consultant has just told her as she just had a sweep. She's expecting twins.

she's also 38 weeks!

I was 4cm dilated for at least 4 days with ds2 without the slightest twinge or sign of labour starting (not with twins though).

Thanks MJD, feeling a bit frantic as she's at the hospital being monitered and I'm at home with DS....aaarrrghgh

I had a sweep on 8/9 at around 7pm, was told I was already 2-3cm dilated. Woke up on 9/9 at 6am with a really painful contraction, dd was born at 842am! So hopefully, it will go the same for you and your LO will be born very soon.
