Constant Period type ache

I have the above, not cramps but a constant ache in my lower tummy and nether regions all day today. Am 37+1. Baby active and tummy tight, have managed a nap so don't think it's labour - any advice? Am seeing the midwife tomorrow but does it start like this or am I just getting het up over nothing?

Im not a midwife but sounds like your body is getting itself ready to me!!!

I agree with girliefriend! I have had this for around 1 week and am 37 weeks too. Sounds like you're body is doing some labour exercises! Good luck. x

Thank you for your replies, hope this means soon, have pgp and spd so feel that I can't take much more, will see what mw says tomorrow but not holding out much hope. Have a 3 and a half year old as well! Need pain relief pre labour as well! What a wuss!

Justanormalmum, good luck too!

MW yesterday said that the baby was just trying to push herself down into my pelvis and could be weeks yet Sad. Whe I told her that i'd been in agony she said "oh good!" Last couple of nights haven't been so bad but I'm hoping you're right exhaustednurse!
