I had my baby boy 9 weeks ago and still have an unhealed area the size of a 50p where I had an episiotomy stitch.

Rubbish midwife said it was fine when i said it was sore after a week, then great midwife got me antibiotics when it was infected and painful after another week.

it's no longer infected and GP just keeps looking and saying 'give it another week'. it's not really painful but surely it should be healed by now? have tried tea tree baths too.

yeah i would ask for a referral to whoever it is you need to see about getting it re-stitched or something

i am no expert tho! but i think i'd have expected it to heal by now
