irregular periods after c section...

hi guys!!

i had my baby boy on 14th july this year, bled for quite a while after having him (lochia) which was down to browny discharge for ages...that finished then after about a week i had my first period, a bit heavier than my pre preg ones but i was on the pill so i expected that. period lasted about7 days around the 13th aug...i still havent had my next one is this normal? please no one tell me there is a chance i could be bloody pregnant again!! we've been using condoms...

Are you ff? I'm bf and had a emcs, my lochia lasted about 6weeks but havn't had a period since, think it's normal for your periods to be a bit out for a while post child birth.

yeah ff...lochia lasted about 4 weeks...need to wait for this period before i can go back on the pill, which should regulate them anyway then...

Well maybe check with your doctor but I think it's just your body recovering and like you say the pill will regulate them.
After a 6week period I'm enjoying my time off! I thought I'd get off lightly after a cs but no that was awful!

Also I think I read on here tha periods after childbirth are much less painful if you get pmt and lighter :)
