Ideas for a New Dad Present for DH

Hello!

I want to buy DH a new dad present- it's our first and due on Wednesday so not a huge amount of time for personalised pressies!

Any ideas from any mumsnetters?

How about a pack of nappies and some cotton wool?

On a more serious note, there are some nice "Daddy" photo frames around that you could put the first picture of them together in. Or a nice collection book he could read to DC. Or a baby book for him to keep.

Wow - hope it all goes well OP! Maybe you're holding your new baby right now. (I'm not welling up, honest).

When pregnant with DS1, I left a box of cigars and a bottle of jack daniels in a secret place for him to go home to after baby was born (whilst we were still in hospital).

I couldn't bear the smell of alcohol all pregnancy so it was a treat for him. I think he needed the drink too and cigars, well they're just traditional aren't they?

In return he got me brie and made me the rarest and yummiest steak I've ever had!
