Am I in labour? Help!

I wonder if anyone can help me.... I am 40 weeks +1 and I started with pains every 10 minutes last night at about 10pm. They were not bad and I slept on and off until 0100. From then till about 0500 pains got more regular, between 6 and 8 minutes.

But... since then the pains have been getting further apart and are around 12 - 15 minutes apart.

Am I in labour? Is it normal for things to slow?

Any advice gratefully received.

Things can start ando stop when you are in early labour especially if the baby is in a bit of a funny position (like back to back)

Try to get some rest if you can

A warm bath and paracetamol may help you as well
