Where is the best place to sell an inflatable birth pool?

Still have birth pool in a box from when I had DS two years ago. I never ended up using it in the end and the box has been used as my bedside table I really need to sell it as I'm not in a relationship any more and am unlikely to have any more children.

So firstly would it be okay to sell it considering it has been sitting in a box for 2 years? I imagine people keep them for a second baby if used for a first, don't they?

And secondly where would be best to sell one? Ebay, local paper, maybe local home birth group? (I don't know whether you can sell things there) Mumsnet?

I'd love to know the answer to this too as I also have an unused birth pool in the box which is now 2 years old.

Don't know about the 2 years old bit - can you contact the company and ask? But I sold my (used) birth pool in a box on ebay for £80 about 2 years ago. Stated collection only, but this was in London so I had a decent sized market for collection only, iyswim.

I sold mine on eBay. I worked out how much the courier collection would be and added it to the listing.

I bought my birth pool in a box on ebay for about £80 just under 2 years ago - it had been used before but I just made sure i got a new liner so it didn't matter. I then sold it again afterwards on ebay for the same as what i had paid! the buyer knew it was third hand but as you use a new liner each time it really doesn't matter. FWIW it cost about £16 to send royal mail parcel force...

That's interesting as I have a used one and didn't think anyone would want to buy it?! May put on ebay then as could really do with the money, unless anyone here fancies collecting one from Reading?

The only thing with mine is I haven't got the box (I wasn't given it when I got it) and you'll need to buy one of those liners but apart from that, it's fab. I'd be happy to send a pic of when it was up for my birth (I didn't actually give birth in it in the end). I have the little step and sieve . I'm in Warwickshire but would probably sell it as collection only. Good to know they hold their value on ebay though.. NCT sale, oh, why didn't I think of that? It was last weekend!

Omi, I have consultants apt ext week when I will get all clear for HB, midwife thinks its a given. If you would like to sell your pool could you email me and let me know how much you would like to sell it for and where in London you are? I will find out if its near enough to DPs work etc.
