Had an hour & half the other other night of approx 10 mins apart but only thought about half way through they might not have been BH. Then they stopped so I ignored them. I had been to MW earlier that day and had mentioned aches to her and the pain I had when with her she didn't think it was a proper one IYSWIM.

Just had 2 about 15mins apart so if I get more how long would you leave it before getting checked out?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Can you ring your midwife? There is a mobile no on my yellow book that I can ring any time - perhaps see what they say?

I don't have a MW team, officially I'm cons only so have to go into Labour ward if theres any problems so am more reluctant to keep going for false alarms IYSWIM.

I would assume it depends on why you are having a section. I had contractions 15 minutes apart for an hour and didn't have my baby that day.

If you are unsure I think it is always best to get checked out.

Oh I see, what a pain.

nymphadora · 19/09/2010 13:25

I'm having it after 2 previous ones. Failure to progress. Didn't engage much wih either and this time baby is 3/5 down and I'm 35+4. I also have SPD which may be making me more sensitive to the pain (if that makes sense)

More ominously baby is quiter today , no bashing me about yet , just the little movements! Although they could just have moved again and thats why I have pains & not much movememts.

I'm no good in the house on my own, I'm over thinking everything aren't I Blush

Have phoned dh at work to make sure he has his phone on in case!
