Helloo

So I know the obvious signs that labour is here, and I'm all too aware of the signs that it'll be here in a month or so, but I want to know, what signs did you have for like the week before you went into labour? And how long after said sign did you actually give birth??

Hi
With DS about a week before I went into labour I remember having mild contractions in the evenings. Just sat watching tv & getting very low down period pain type cramps every 5 or 8 mins. They'd go on for about an hour & then stop - would be sat there wondering whether to say anything to hubby or not, I always used to mention it to him once they'd stopped!! This happened about 3 evenings in the last week. Only remember having a few BH tightenings but nothing major or to make me think this is it! Walking also became very uncomfortable, couldn't go far without very painful stabbing like pains down below & feeling like something was going to pop out! I went 3 days over, started at 1am in morning, woke up thinking wet myself (was forewaters!) went for wee & pains started....rest is history!!!

This time round I'm 32wk & already getting occassionaly cramp pains in the evenings again...but friends have told me with 2nd pg got pains earlier on but baby's still stayed put till nearer due date!

My midwife said I was in early labour on Thursday and I had my baby on Sunday.
