Anyone had their baby at Jubilee Birth Centre?

I know there might not be many of you as it's only a small MLU, but I wondered if anyone had any experience of giving birth at the Jubilee Centre in Cottingham/Hull? I am keen on having my first baby there (not due until Nov) as it's very 'home from home' but still only 10 mins in an ambulance to the main maternity hospital in Hull if anything goes wrong. I have had a normal pregnancy so far and no reason to suspect anything will go wrong, but my GP very unhelpfully tried to persuade me towards the main maternity hospital at the beginning of my pregnancy Hmm and I just wanted a bit of real-life advice!

HI there, not me but a good friend laboured at the Jubilee Centre, loved it there but unfortunately labour didn't progress and she really needed more pain relief so transferred to Hull, and she was quite far on in her labour and no problem taking her over in an ambulance. She said the care at both was fantastic.
Hull maternity ward is relatively new I think so quite modern, the rooms are really nice and staff fantastic.
