Is there a thread for impending VBACers on the go?

At long last, at 34 weeks, baby has turned head down and we are good to go! I'm sure there was a thread somewhere, unless it's dropped off the radar because everyone's VBACed already Grin

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi, I've bumped it up for you !

Cheers :)

Just phoned midwife on ward because I was so shocked that baby was cephalic when I saw the consultant yesterday that I forgot to ask him all sorts of things. She says the birth pool's probably a no-no, certainly once I've got going, I will have to be constantly monitored whether I like it or not but if the telemetry machine's free I'll be allowed that, and that it would be a good idea to go with his advice to consider induction at 40+7.

Seeing my community MW tomorrow (she's based in my local trust while the hospital I am booked for is in another trust) so I'll run this by her and see what she says. Might consider a transfer if they're willing to be more positive about it ... I do feel a bit like the consultant will be hovering with his scalpel poised, much as I trust him. He's seen two uterine ruptures in his career so I'm happy that he's experienced it - just think maybe he's a bit scared now.
