when did your baby arrive?

I am 32 weeks with my third baby. My first was born on her due date, the second was 5 days early. I'm wondering if this baby will come early or is there no correlation at all between when your DC are born. i.e. do they just come when ready?

What has been your experience, particularly with third/more babies?

First DD was 2 weeks late, 2nd DD was born on due date, 3rd DD was nine days over and 4th DD was 2 weeks early (induced)...

1st - 10 days late
2nd - 10 days early
Am now 36+5 with DC3 and no idea when to expect this one!

DS1 - several weeks preterm
DS2 - bang on due date
DD - also bang on her due date

DD1 - due date
DS1 - 4 days over
DD2 - section at 4 days over for breech
DS2 - 5 days over

DD - 14 days late
DS1 - 11 days late
DS2 - 6 days late

#1 12 days late
#2 8 days late
#3 2 days early

all spontaneous labour.

DS1 - 6 days early
DS2 - 12 days early
DS3 - 7 days early

DD 6 days before EDD
DS 1 day before EDD

I wa s lucky, DC come when they're ready. Babies are, in fact, only late if they arrive post 42 weeks.

ds - 3 days late (born on dh's birthday)
dd - 3 days late (meant I missed drs appointment)

Both arrived on days I didn't want them to so as long as you plan something important then you should know when they are going to turn up!

dd1 21 days pre due date
dd2 21 days pre due date
dd3 5 days post due date!
dc4 Now 39 + 2 and no idea what will happen!

Think you are right, they just come when they want too

DC1 38+1
DC2 40+1 (longest 2 weeks of my life as I thought she would be early).
