Nearly a year down the line mine is still quite distinct, although not as dark as it was. i thought it would have gone by now. anybody else??

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Igglybuff · 11/08/2010 07:17

I exfoliated mine and it started to come away after about 5/6 months? Took a few weeks. I didn't have to scrub hard, just gently with a shower puff thing.

moonstorm · 11/08/2010 13:12

Envy I want one Envy

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/08/2010 13:15

Mine is still there. I had dd nearly 15 years ago.

chipmonkey · 11/08/2010 14:15

I never had one and I really wanted one!

Fruitpastels · 11/08/2010 14:21

I had DS2 9 months ago and it's still there.

Marjee · 11/08/2010 20:26

I never had one! I wonder why some women get it and others don't?

arabellaandbaby · 11/08/2010 22:58

Apparently, dark skinned/haired women tend to get it more than their fair haired counterparts. I still have mine and I had DD 5 months ago. I'm hoping I'm not like GetOrfMoiLand!

catbus · 11/08/2010 23:01

Last time with DC3 it stayed for 18 months. Up le duff now with DC4, 36 weeks, and it's the only time I have never had one, which is disturbing me a lot. Like a missing bit of pregnancy. Tut.

chipmonkey · 11/08/2010 23:57

I also always wanted to be dark-skinned. Oh well!

PatsyStone · 12/08/2010 10:22

Mine never went away completely after my first. It faded, and got darker when I was pregnant again. Nearly three years after my last it is still there although it has faded somewhat.

I am blonde and blue/green eyed, and although I am not pale, not particularly dark.

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/08/2010 10:30

I am blonde with green eyes, whiter than white skin. My linea nigra is the colour of weak tea.

I like it - reminds me of being pregnant, which I loved.

Igglybuff · 12/08/2010 18:25

I'm mixed so olive skin, brown hair.

I really hated my line! Glad to see it gone. Is that bad??

chipmonkey · 14/08/2010 00:04

Envy again at olive skin. I always wanted olive skin. I look like I've been washed in Daz and then dipped in blueberry sauce.

usualsuspect · 14/08/2010 00:06

yep think its gone, youngest ds is 17 ,mind

Marjee · 14/08/2010 00:21

I'm really pale with dark hair and green eyes and had no line! Did anyone not get one with their 1st baby and then get it with 2nd or 3rd?

Igglybuff · 14/08/2010 07:16

Grin chipmonkey at being washed in Daz.
