Strong period pains

Hi all,

I am 39 + 4 and for the last few days I have been having really strong period pains, I have to stop and sit for a while until they pass, theyn only last 30 seconds, if that. Just wondered if anyone else had anything like this and if it was the start of anything? They are not regular and I maybe have them twice a day.

It could be the start of something, could be baby moving down, could be your crevix preparing itself

All sounds good though! I relished any pain at this stage

That would be good news!

Odd how when they come I panic and think NO please NO! Then when they go I pray for them to come back.

Hi I had this for about 2 weeks (sorry) before I went into labour with both of mine, on the plus side my labours only lasted 6 and 3 hours. I know everyone says it but you will know when you start. Good luck for your birth.

OH ... I have midwife thursday so hopefully she will advise ...

Still good,means something is happening, I guess, even if I have another week to go.

I have run out of things to clean and throw away something needs to happen soon!!
