was born just after midnight in the early hours of this morning.

all natural labour and birth in water.

it was hellish, but worth it!

anyone looking to avoid medical induction, try acupuncture and reflexology, worked for us.

I'm so sorry I didn't see that you had OC - I had very similar experiences - but I was glad to see you got through to the OC helpline - they are marvellously reassuring. And the one great thing about it is that post birth you are so relieved to be rid of the itching and overwhelming tiredness that dealing with a new baby seems easy.

ha! he hasn't lost any weight...i am milk goddess, and he is milk monster and together we shall rule the world.

my poonani is a car crash...when does the swelling go down/insides go back in/stiches dissolve???

am just enjoying it all so much more this time (famous last words) as am not anxious about getting everything right, not because i know what i'm doing but because i know i fucked loads of things up with ds and he's ok!

prufrock, was so shite, and i didn't have it with ds at all so came as such a shock. am so glad to be threw that particular set of woods it's just so horrible having the worst possible outcome dangled over your head as being more likely...

Tell me about it. I'd been through it with dd and hated how I was treated, so was super clued up when it came to ds, and yet still got scared into staying in hospital one weekend by a SHA who it turned out knew less bout OC than I did but was covering his own back. And when faced with "Well you can go home, but you'll have to sign out AMA so it won't be my responsibility when your baby dies" it's difficult to have the resolve to stick to your guns. (When my consultant came in on Monday and found me there he discharged me and bollocked the SHO big time). So glad you both got through it.

Are you taking arnica soph? The swelling and bruising and stuff will all heal much quicker if you are.
