Hi
Just wondering how long you have to stay in hospital after a VBAC, or is it the same as natural delivery for 2nd,3rd when as soon as you're up you're out! So could possibly be out in a few hours if no complications.
Thank you

I was out within hours.

I walked out 4 hours after my last VBAC in time to put the kids to bed. I couldn't walk for at least 4 days after my section with my first DS!!!!

I didn't. I chose to stay in one night as I'd had no sleep for two nights and a toddler at home. I needed some peace!

was welcome to stay had i wanted to

I was in for four days when i vbac with dd - but i had a 3rd degree tear and could hardly walk.

With DS i was home after about twelve hours.

Thank you. Our hospital is over an hour 15 min drive away. After Emer CS with DS, my DH stayed in hotel at end of hospital road, as the thought of being all that way from family scared me!!! So if I can be out same day would be fab!!
