to be able to have an elcs next time? I think mine was pretty bad, but I expect it could have been a lot worse and I am just a wuss

It depends on your consultant, there isn't a standard answer to this.

Have you seen the ELCS after traumatic birth thread? That should give you an idea of people's experiences.

Second that, check out the ELCS thread. Lots of helpful info on there.
Speaking from experience, I would say the ladies who ended up with a EMCS first time round tend to get a ELCS easier than those who had a traumatic vaginal delivery. Totally unfair in my opinion but if you check out that thread you will soon realise that it really is a different policy for each hospital. Some are FAR more understanding than others.
