Dragging pain in ureathra after birth

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. It is now a week since I gave birth and in the last few days I have developed a 'dragging feeling' when I get up after lying or sitting down, makes me feel like I need a wee straight away. Any ideas what this could be? I haven't had any problems passing urine but did have a catheta in after the delivery.

THanks

I had the same, I think I was simply swollen and irritated downstairs. It passed slowly. IF you're worried though speak to your midwife,

I had similar for a while, midwife said it was because it was bruised from the catheter. Might be worth asking your midwife about it though in case it's an infection?

I had this for a few weeks after ds2 (also had a catheter).

I just made sure I drunk plenty water and it went away of it's own accord, but no harm in mentioning it to your midwife.

Congratulations btw
