Has anyone had any recent experience of giving birth at either of these hospitals? I went for a tour of the Horton the other week and they had cancelled it due to being too busy? They suggested if its a second pregnancy, you are likely to be out within 2 hours of giving and your baby will have to be checked by a GP!! I was qute horrified that that was their attitude but they say they are just too busy.
I'm now considering the JR - they suugest you need to stay for at lest 6 hours to make sure you're ok and your baby must be checked by a peadiatrician - sounded much better to me but is this reality?
