hey im new to this and have joined as i could do with some information from people with simular storys to mine.

i have a little boy, who is 2 this year, and im very keen to start tryin for another baby. the only problem is im worried as i had a very bad time with my lil boy. i was induced after been 12 days over due, and while i was in labour i started bleedin quite bad, after the delivery i started loosing blood at a fast rate and ended up loosing 2 litres. i came out of hostpital just in time for christmas 2008.
i never found out why i lost the blood, and if it will happen again my baby wasnt even big he was 6 and half pound.

has any1 else ever had a simular expierience and gone on to have a normal birth the times after??

Hi, i haven't had this but a bit of a rough ride in my last labour, i spoke to my midwife about and she said there is a lady who gets your notes and goes through exactly what happend and why with you.

I'm going to call her when i am a little further along but maybe worth asking someone in your area for the same, as sometimes thats what we need to know exactly what and why happend as it tends to be all a blur.

HTH

yes thank you 4 your advice, after i had my baby i asked the doctor why it happend and he just said well u started bleeding in labour so if that happens then ur more likely to bleed afterwards, but it doesnt solve it though. the idea of it happening again terrifies me

I bet it does, it's very scarey.

I bled in labour but did not bleed afterwards well i did but nothing out of the normal if you know what i mean, the average.

I think you need more detailed information so that you know exactly why you bled and if it happens again what can be done etc.
