How active was your baby just prior to labour?

Just wondering...

My not so small baby is really really busy today, yesterday too - stretching , kicking and rolling.

As I am 38+6 I was hoping this suggests that he/she is intending to come out soon

No clue but I really hope you are righ. For the past 24 hours DD2 has been challenging for her place in the next olympic gymnastics squad! I had stupidly thought that given DD1 was breach and constantly head-butted me that DD2 being the 'right' way round would be better. Very wrong. Being kicked in your ribs and thumped by little handing in your pelvis is no fun either. I'm 38+2 today and willing this baby out to no avail....
