TMI - not sure whether I had a show

Am 38+3 weeks pregnant, and when I went to the loo earlier found a lump of EWCM, like a bit of jelly. I have been having loads of discharge anyway so can't decide whether this is just yet more discharge or whether it's (part of) a show. There was no blood in it at all - does there need to be blood for it to be a show?

Presumably even if it was a show I don't need to do anything about it right now if there are no other signs of labour...

It is possible to have a show a few days/week or so before labour actually starts.

I remember having a bit of a show (lumpy discharge) about 5 days or so before my waters broke at 39+2 weeks.

All the best to you for your upcoming labour etc

Yeah, that's true! Mine didn't have blood in it either, was a bit gluey as well.

No more signs yet - actually I don't really want to go into labour until Sunday now as I have plans on Saturday (sod's law, I know...)
