DD12 struggling socially

No one to talk and worried about DD. She is in a small school and only 12 in her year. She moves to a bigger school next year and hoped she could get there relatively happy but its getting harder and harder socially. She is waiting on assessment but ticks off signs for AuDHD. She is such a lovely kind sensitive little kid and it breaks my heart to see her like this. Other kids glide socially and she just cant, she tries so hard to fit in, adapt but cant. Heartbreaking.

Sorry to hear that OP. What’s her new school like? Hopefully with more kids it will be easier to find someone similar.

Have you looked at clubs? Might be good to try and find friends that way.

Thanks @Squiggles23. In theory her new school should be better as bigger classes and hopefully better chance of finding her tribe. She will start next september so we need to limp along until end of thus school year. Small schools and class sizes really do not suit ND kids but I didn't know until too late. She doesn't want to move school.
Shes lucky to have horse riding as a hobby but the loneliness of hanging around at school on her own and bring included if no one else is available drags her down.
