Hi,
Recently one of my daughters has been asking a lot of questions about death and dying. When I ask for more context she will state she is scared of me dying, her sisters, anyone that is close to her.. I've offered reassurance, listening to her validating her feelings, is this common? Should I investigate further.
No previous trauma, home life is as stable as can be.
Thank you for reading.

Just reassure her, she'll tell you if that's not getting it. Don't lie, though. You can't promise not to die, but you can say that you plan to be alive a long time, and you look both ways when crossing the road etc.

She's just sad about it and she wants to be with me when I'm at home etc.. I'm planning on mentioning to my therapist who helps me when she returns from holiday it's heart breaking seeing her like this. 😥
