Has anyone bought the My Brain Books picture book series by Orlanda Bettison and found them helpful? They're quite expensive so I was hoping to hear from anyone that has them before buying.
I have a 6 year old that struggles with his emotions and goes from feeling tired to angry very often, and then gets upset and says that he's a terrible person. He sometimes says that he wishes he was dead when he'svery upset, but he can't explain what he means by this when I ask him. I also have an 8 year old that suffers from panic attacks, so I'm trying to find some resources to help them both and not really sure where to start!
These books keep popping up on my Facebook feed so I'm wondering if it's worth getting them. I think the approach is mostly mindfulness, so if anyone can recommend anything similar, that would be helpful too.
