DLA WAIT TIMES - new claim

Hi. I posted my child’s DLA forms off on the 7th may. My scan date is the 16th may. I received a letter saying Upto 15 weeks but I believe this has changed to 25 weeks? My question is has anybody had their forms scanned in may this year and has a decision already?

Its around 28 weeks.

That is for MR and COC, new claims are around 15weeks now with some waiting alittle longer

Thanks for your replies. Is the weeks’ wait from the date on the forms or the scan date?

It’s from the scan date but if you get awarded you will be backdated to the date you called if you sent your forms back on time
