Hi everyone, just looking for some advice really on what to do in my situation. I've just found out that my child who is 13 has been getting bullied from people in their year group and its become so bad that they have started to harm themselves (tried to cut their arm with a razor and made a few graze like marks on their forearm) I've sat down and spoken to my child and asked how they are feeling and what i can do to help and that they can move schools if need be (they said they dont want to move schools) and I'm just not sure what the next steps are? I've rang the school and I will be meeting with them tomorrow but what can I do to help my child in the mean time? do I ring the doctors and get them referred for mental health do I need to involve social services or will the doctors do that? just want to do the best for my child and any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

So sorry to hear this op - i'd say meeting with the school is a great next step. In terms of how to support your teen there are some practical steps here i think are worth learning https://weareluna.app/parents/guides/relationships/dealing-with-bullying/ hoping nothing but the best x
