10 year old with anxiety/stress - anyone tried vitamins?

Hi there, my daughter has been referred for counselling via school but I was wondering if anyone had tried vitamins as an additional step?

ive been reading up on magnesium or L-Theanine but not sure how much good it’s likely to do?

if it was straightforward it would be worth a try but she’s extremely fussy and getting her to take the vitamins will be a battle so only keen to do it if it’s worth it.

TIA

I tried magnesium gummies* with my 10yr old son who has ASD and PTSD and separation anxiety. It didn't do anything for him unfortunately.

Sorry to hear that @Realisation14 but thanks for letting me know

I use a variety of vitamins for my 7 year old with adhd which brings anxiety etc, including both magnesium and L-Theanime. We use gummies which taste a bit like sweets.

It hasn’t been a quick fix but over time supplements have definitely made a small but consistent improvement.
