No handover from CAMHS

So my dc has been under CAMHS for 12 years. On antipsychotic drugs for most of that time. I'm sure it won't surprise any long term parent here to discover that the handover to adult services is non existent.
I mean I was expecting it to be shit, but not this awful. There is literally nothing compared to CAMHS. And anyone who has waited for years to get CAMHS input will know how that long takes. Luckily my DC will happily stay in their bedroom watching til tok rather than doing anything else . But how long for.

The lack of proper transition almost killed my daughter. If I hadn't been able to afford private care I think she would be dead.

The whole expérience has left me deeply traumatised as well.

I'm already traumatised. Can I ask what private care you used? We can't afford it but have no other options

I've sent you à PM (actually 3 because I tried to say "hi" and then start a new line and it sent the message instead.
What I will say here is that I found the Young Minds telephone-line helpful for ideas of where to ask for help.
Was the transition protocol followed? If it wasn't you can contact PALS and make a complaint (but if you do that make sure you have everything in writing as they can and do lie).
