Private ADHD and Autism Assessment

Hello, I am looking for some recommendations for private assessment providers please. My son has been on the waiting list for assessment for ADHD and suspected autism for over a year and it could be another 3 years before he is seen. I cannot wait this long, he is really struggling socially and emotionally at home and school and I want to get him some proper support and, if appropriate, medication far sooner. I am happy to pay whatever this costs but its a minefield of providers out there and I don't know where to start! NHS right to choose has nothing for children in my area. Anyone any recommendations in the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire area?! Thank you.

We were very happy with The Autism Service

They gave us the diagnosis and report that eventually resulted in an EHCP for our 16 year old. They won't prescribe though (I don't think) so you have to find a psychiatrist for that. We're thinking about medication but just going through Camhs now. Good luck 🤞

Have you asked for a right to choose referral from the gp? We did that and got seen privately with costs paid within about 6 months I think. Lists might be longer now though
