Hey Mumsnetters! 👋
We’re stem4, a charity that’s all about boosting the mental health of children and young people across the UK. Founded by Dr Nihara Krause MBE in 2011, we’re on a mission to give every young person access to the best psychological support out there—no matter their background or current circumstances (both financially and mental health wise).
Life’s tough enough for kids these days, right? That’s why we’ve created a bunch of free apps to help manage the trickier times. Whether it's tackling anxiety, beating low moods, steering clear of self-harm, or facing eating challenges, we've got something to help. And the best part? They're all based on solid, clinical know-how and are totally free all across the UK. Check them out here: https://stem4.org.uk/apps/
🌟 Big News: We’re imminently launching our Online Safety First Aid™ course! We have been commissioned by Ofcom (the UK's media regulator) to deliver expert mental health training to health professionals and youth workers and it's been such a success, we are creating brand new content tailored specifically for parents. It’s all about better understanding the online world, leveraging its benefits and avoiding the harms when it comes to young people's use. We’d love to know what specific issues you're keen for us to cover. More info will be up on our website soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
Curious? Pop over to stem4.org.uk. We’re here to intervene early and help our kids navigate through tough times, with tools that genuinely work.
