How do I get depressed autistic 17 yo to engage with help?

Ds has been in bed not speaking or moving for most of the last week. He has always had phases like this but never this long.
He is meant to be doing A levels but his attendance has been intermittent and he refuses to hand in work, so he is likely to not be allowed to continue into y13.
He has had an EHCP since he was 9 but has only just got the autism diagnosis. He reluctantly engaged with the diagnostic process.
He had some CAMHS input last summer after a suicide attempt but they discharged him after he stopped being suicidal.
I don’t know what to do. If we refer him back to CAMHS will they not do anything because he’s not an immediate suicide risk?
We can afford private counselling but it would have to be online as there is nothing in the area.
How do we get him helped when he won’t move or speak? Help!

I thought this might help.

When I have in the past been in periods like that, I have wanted some practical support (with things like food etc), some emotional understanding & validation and to gradually be able to reconnect and recover at my own pace without being pushed to take things quickly or for there to be a preferred “outcome” (I.e. all back to “normal”. sometimes what is normal has to change).
