Cahms assessment tips

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or insights into the cahms assessment appointment? My 6 yo has an app with Tier 2 for anxiety (potentially coupled with ptsd).

The dr when we were referred said that a lot of referrals end up getting rejected so it’s making me a bit nervous.

Any help is gratefully received!

I hope you have success! My self harming 7 year old had his referral rejected. Sounds like you have an appointment which is positive. We didn't get an appointment

Round my way CAMHS only take on the very seriously ill, tier 3. Think it depends on the area.

My tip would be to really tell it how it is, the impact on his and your life. Be careful not to minimise.
