I am currently completing my doctoral thesis, which is exploring perceptions of adventurous play among primary caregivers of children with anxiety. Your child does not need to have a diagnosis of anxiety but only be perceived to have anxiety by you, the primary caregiver. Research studies in other countries have looked at caregivers’ perceptions of adventurous play, but research has not looked specifically at caregivers of children with anxiety. I hope that this research can offer insight into an area that has not previously been explored.
If you choose to take part, you will be invited to attend an interview over Microsoft Teams with me (study researcher). The interview will include questions to help the researcher to understand your perceptions of adventurous play.
