My 9 year old has been diagnosed with ADHD (combined). The diagnosis came as a bit of surprise (we thought more ASD). My child is not the classic ADHD stereotype - more racing mind than actions. One of their major issues is anxiety.
We have an appointment with child psychiatrist in a couple of weeks to discuss meds. I’ve read various things from looking on the internet - SSSRIs and stimulants, non stimulants, just SSSRIs. I’m confused.
Anyone experience/advice about meds where your main concern is anxiety?
