Child having inappropriate fantasies

Found drawings by 5yo daughter of disturbing fantasies. Things like nude males being tortured in inappropriate ways. She often spaces out into daydreams. After I found the drawings, she told me that she gets these ideas from her daydreams. Is this normal development or cause for concern?

I have reported this as it's a little odd, and I think you already must know that that isn't normal.

No five year old can draw that well

@custarddish From what I have read it is normal for children of young ages to explore fairly strange ideas through play - doctors, etc. That seem strange but are normal parts of development. I have no idea what to think in this scenario.

@LysHastighed I have not shown the drawings or really described the images? And I am not going to do that. So im not sure how you concluded that

My eldest drew astonishingly detailed pictures at 2 1/2 (gifted autistic) and my youngest drew badly drawn pics at about 6 of things with bums or things being dead.

It happens. But I have no advice. My kids are both neurodivergent. It stopped (not the advanced drawing, he's off to college to study art now)

@N0tANOoDl3He4D I am sure she is ND. She began reading just prior to her 3rd birthday, unprompted just picked up things in the shops and started reading the packaging one day. Butter, milk, etc. She is an excellent artist. I think maybe just a huge imagination. I have no idea where this could have come from

I’ve reported this too- can’t see how this could be a genuine question
