Dla change of circumstances

Hi all my Daughter has Autism and waiting on a diagnosis for adhd. We currently recieve dla standard care but it has been 2 years since this was awarded and her care needs have significantly altered to needing a lot more how do I inform dla of this please.

Phone them and ask for a change of circumstance form. It's as length at the initial form.

I second @anon37484291918, give them a call. However, be aware the award can go down as well as up.

Following I submitted my change of circumstances form for my son, as his needs are now greater. I think I might end up having to do a renewal though b4 it's even looked at as wait times are so long, also waiting on ehcp and blue badge feel like I'm forever waiting

I did a change of circumstances due to increased care, they reduced my award (reinstated on appeal) might be worth checking the criteria to see if she would likely get enough points for the higher award, unlikely with autism unless of the very severe with learning difficulties kind

This is nonsense. Plenty of so called ‘high functioning’ DC are eligible for the high rate of the care component.

DLA isn’t based on points like PIP is.
