17 month old swollen eye lid, and some yellow discharge

Hi my son had watery eye and then he got poorly, rash, really high temp was given IV antibiotics for 4 days.

A few days after we left hospital the watery eye returned and now his eye lid is red and swollen, has some yellow discharge. I have no idea if this is related the his previous illness but do you think this could wait until tomorrow? Or would 111 be appropriate?

It looks similar to my little girls eye a few weeks ago. It was conjunctivitis and the gp prescribed some ointment which cleared it up a treat
